Sontara® MicroPure LP is a high-performance, absorbent product
engineered for cleanrooms. Because Sontara® is made using the
unique hydroentangling process, where needle-like water jets form a
strong, nonwoven fabric without any binders, these fabrics are ideally
suited for critical cleanroom environments.

The Cleanest One Around
This remarkable Sontara® low particle fabric was specifically developed
to obtain a high level of cleanliness and purity without sacrificing
absorbency. It has millions fewer invisible particles than typical sealed
edge, double-knit polyester wipers, yet is far more absorbent. This
absorbency is inherent to the fabric itself – unlike knits – and not the
result of chemical additives. Sontara® MicroPure LP is the cleanest
high-absorbency nonwoven fabric available.

Engineered That Way
Made using jets of filtered, high-pressured water, Sontara® fabric is
continually “washed” during manufacturing. This patented process
requires no binders or additives. It is converted and packaged using
strict quality control procedures. Unlike knits, which often require
additional handling for laundering and sealing edges, Sontara® fabric
does not require intermediate processing.
