Survival Guide

To be honest, we don’t even need to tell you to go out. We’re all gonna do it!

But with Covid-19 still being a reality, remember that less cases doesn’t mean no cases! As we frolic in the sunshine for the first time in months, let’s keep in mind these useful tips to be carefree AND Covid-free.

Shield your hands!

Public spaces are fraught with potential virus hotspots. Think lift buttons, doorknobs and railings: if it can be touched, it might contain viruses. That’s why keeping your hands protected is important!

Consider using sanitiser to disinfect your hands after touching such objects. Alternatively, wear gloves! Sanitisers may kill 99.9% of all viruses, but gloves ensure that 100% of viruses stay off your hands entirely.

We have a selection of gloves that are flexible enough for you to do daily tasks, keep your hands covered AND offer good physical protection, too

Avoid talking to others!

If you’re an introvert, congratulations, you may skip this tip.

For everyone else, talking with each other in public over a meal is something we’ve missed! Unfortunately, the virus does transmit via droplets, so precautions are best followed.

Try to wear a mask when facing each other and talking if you’re not eating! Masks are mandatory in public spaces already, but why not try a face shield for extra droplet protection? We sell both; check them out if you’d like!

Avoid Crowded Areas!

From malls to public transport, there are plenty of once-empty places that are starting to get crowded again. Rubbing shoulders with others is still risky, so just because you can visit those places doesn’t mean you should.

By all means, go out, but try to avoid timings where crowds are more likely. But of course, you need a pair of good glasses so that you can read the time accurately. Check out our range of eyewear to find one that’s customised right for you!
